Um, oh, hi..

remember me?

I have a barrage of excuses for not updating, including but not limited to:

• extreme busyness with actual school business, i.e. planning an editorial study, creating novel tests and grading compositions (you're jealous..I can tell already)
• daily cross country practice, including two this week (watch me push the munchkins)
• a freaking cross country MEET the night before grades are due (and waiting for an hour for parents to show)
• training, for that thing, what was it? ...yes, the Houston Marathon.
• preparing for the Drips arrival, (houseguests living n Bahrain) They are plenty low-maintenance, but I did have to straighten up. A little.
• Many, many, holiday parties. I know, poor me, harriette socialite.
  

Pair that with the fact that half the time it has been effing cold, which means the inside of my 90-year-old house remains frigid much of the time, making it very unpleasant to type. So there.
