New trick

I know that I cannot really expect animals to immediately pick up on the dreaded return to Central Standard (ie. "fall back") Time right away, but we must all learn a little patience.

Relishing my extra hour of post-SSS inner party and pre-fifteen miler sleep time, I hear a "tap-tap" at about 4:45 on Sunday morning. "Huhmm?" I think I said.

Grind quietly (as quietly as he can ever manage, anyway, "S'Ophie."

Within seconds, the rhythm increased and the sound crescendoed "WHAPWHAPWHAPWHAPWHAPWHAPWHAPWHAP!"

Leaping from under the comfort of down and pattering down the stairs, I see the big, fluffy, very bad cat up on her hind legs, drumming the glass for all she's worth. Which is not very much right now, I might add.

Will she get to keep those front claws? We'll see. At least a trim is in order!
